AfterMaths of Chennai Trip

v Had come back from chennai to recive all the weird responses from all others....lots of criticism...sarcasm in approach towards the football team...after v cameback from chennai..
V were silent...v knew that v had improved a lot....That was enuf for us...
the very next day from return 3 platers of the team including me...startd practicing...lots of passing n stuff instead of goal scoring...
Coach was happy....He immidiately Talked to DEAN to send us to the ICFAI tournament....an impossible feat after losing 6-0 in chennai...But well, how many ppl knw that v lost to Madras Univ. & they were the finalists of the event :O

After 3 hour long discussion DEAN Agreed to send us... v were prepared very little but were confident about the team....now tat v knew what we had to do....And how!!

Someone very rightly said "Experience is One thing that you never know how & when u have gained"


with my consistent performance in the practice sessions..... I was promoted to the main team this time...(also backd up by absence of few players for diwali :D)
I love playing in mid-field but was playing a defensive Mid-field position...
But then my attacking nature wasn't goin to leave me... I always with my full energy (of CWG'2010 :P ) shuffled forward and back....

I Opened the scoring for the team in the first Match........ It should have stopped there..if we hadn't gone to chennai before this tournment..... The passing has improved so much that.... I opened the Scoring for my Team in every Single Match of the Tournament Till Finals.....I know I scored 3 goals in 3 games but it was my team that made it possible.....So happy to say this so many times...

Soon after the day we entered the Finals....our Team gave me the Golden Boot award :)
but it however Would have been satisfactory only if we had won the tournament....And how best it would be...when the finals is against the Host team...It had to Rock!!!


Lots of injuries & heavy tackling game went on, on the final day .... A steady Rock shall always be steady...And we did so the next day....I played a very defensive role..as they scored the first goal...and hence din't score any goal....but v won 2-1...,again was applauded for my goodwork in the defence...

Got The Trophy (size over 1 feet) nice one...wud upload the pic soon....
Also won a Cash award of Rs.8000.


Management is extremely happy....So are our Coaches...

Everything is fine till now....Tournament was from 21-25 ...i Delayed this blog cos of heavy deadlines under the sleeves....Infact even now it wouldnt have been done without shek's interference.... Still under deadlines.... Iam again on a marathon now!!....Second after comming to IIIT....last time it was 38 hrs on the traught....i donno how long this shall last.....
