Bad Start for Day 2.....Yet a good finish!!

Day 2 of the sports meet started on a very bad note for me...
on day 1 i had vomited after finishing the 1500 mts race....So i thought it could b b'cos of an empty stomach & today i had my breakfast before the Race!
the day started with 800 Mts Racing & i crumbled after being leader till 500mts.... n thn retired as a leader itself...as i had a muscle pulled out....This decision was very important for me....'cos i had to participate in many more events after this!

Followed by Long Jump....Failed to reach the top spot! But for my own records....my best jump was recorded 4.46 Mts... the best of the day was 4.80 Mts

I had enough of it now!
Rammed straight into 400 Mts race...
Determined to get a medal for myself & some points for the team. I ran tirelessly the entire run.
Very fortunate to have got a very important tip from one of the External Referee who had come to adjudicate the proceedings of the sports meet.


Then it was time for 4 * 400 Mts Relay....After a promising start by mahaveer who stood second in the first lap(exactly as he promised before he went to the track).... an unexpected Breath-Taking Effort came from Prudvi...who hadn't participated in any event in the last 2 days......He gave us an unimaginable 10 Mts Lead in the second lap...I Exchanged Batton with him in the third LAP.....As always i took a leap in my first 100 Mts...And my poor competitor of other team had forgotten his basics & ran as hard as he could to chase me....& in the end got tired b'for he could finish his final 100 Mts....But i had a steady run after the initial burst i gave ....And hence took a whooping 40-50 Mts lead.....Then i had exchanged Baton with Our teams Best Athelete...& two time Best athelete award winner & 2 Time second best in the same(including this year)....This guy just had to Jog till the final moment....And we would win....But as Competitive as he gets...He Ran a less tiring run....only to finish the race... We Won The GOLD.

By the way...we hav got a track suit from college for our exceptional performance at the ICFAI-Tech earlier this year... we had won their Futball tournament...being the Highest Goal Scoring team(10 goals in 4 games) & also the least Goal Conceding team(just 1 goal in 4 games).
