Every Single time you meet your friends, you feel the immense pleasure that we find in meeting them, remembering the days that have gone by.
Last sunday (Dec 3rd) I had a flash back of over 15years... :O
My best friend had come to hyd, so i wanted to meet her. planned for the evening & very casually as always moved away. This was the only plan for me, Meeting her was just more than enough for me. Who knew the hidden surprises in store for me. I met her & then we went to a mall nearby... we were just about to start our snacks..... Surprise..Surprise...
Much to anybody's surprise... geetha found a guy staring at us. Staring.....it was more than staring. ha ha ha...
after a moment of weird look she said " Chakrapani hai kya ?? "
I looked around, Puzzled. "yup!!".It was chakri & his 2 younger brothers.
By the way for those who dont knw him ... he is a GEM of a kind. He holds a record in school that hasn't been broken yet. I don't believe it can b done so soon! He was topper from 4th class(when he joined the school) to 10th class & then again in 12th class. He then went on to do his B.Tech from IIT Guwahati in CSE, & currently working with MicroSoft. we had a chat & after some time we dispersed.
I looked at time...6.40 PM. Too early to get back home...afterall i boasted that i wont b back home till 10 :D
Now it was time for some planning... I called up my Chemistry teacher, if she could be available. "yes".
Ooo la la...
Meeting her after a six month gap. Felt unbelievably happy. She has also been one of those very few people, who believed me, when no one else did! Uncle was a great a painter. I always used to look at his paintings to try to understand or to appreciate. But, there were indeed times when I & my sister were the only spectators beyond their house. I used to regularly visit his paintings galary, as they used to stay next door.
But, today ... mam got an album. i recollected that uncle has been conducting Exhibitions. must be of those... But what were these photo's im looking at... All the big wigs of indian Economy, politicians ( Natwar singh....) & Musicians (shankar ,ehsaan , loy, sivamani......)
Again got back to his latest paintings... www.thecrea.com
I went on to meet Mini my childhood friend, probably my first female friend..haha ..
yeah she used to feel like a boss!! she knew my mom, as her father was mom's coleague. I was as always & as iam now..Never liked to write notes in class.
in 3rd class she used to hit me with pencil, and say " Rahul, Notes likh... nai to mummy ko bolungi..."
ha ha ha...the fun we had over the years...10 years of strong friendship in school & 5 years from that time now... No change....same THENGA(Coconut) ...ha haha..
Incidentally i also met a Junior, he brought back a few moments as well.... He reminded me of the Karate Ground where we practiced, the place (rather palace) where i sweated the most.
The Roads that lead to our success. the roads on which we used to 5-8-10 Kms (:O)
It was all over now! i had to leave....
As i was leaving... I saw the Chat Bhandaar where I tirelessly ate in the evenings....Also reminded me of Ankur Bajaj who in this same chat bhandaar once ate Panipuri for 20 Rs. and was requesting his day " Papa please papa...bas 2 rupaye aur" . Imagine guys ( 20*4= 80 , what!!) ofcourse it is 1998, i'm talking abt.
A rendezvous with geetha had turned into a "Virtual Get-Together " . so thanks to her!
